AC Repair

Jennifer B.

I wanted to share how impressed we were with the service we received from Big Al’s Services.

Our air conditioning unit suddenly started leaking water, which forced us to shut off the AC during a heat wave over Fourth of July weekend. We called Big Al’s Services, and they responded incredibly quickly, arriving within a couple hours.

Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They diagnosed the issue right away and resolved it quickly, allowing us to get our AC back up and running the same day.

We truly appreciated the fast response and excellent service, especially during such a busy holiday weekend. Because of this experience, Big Al’s Services has absolutely gained a new customer for all of our heating and cooling needs.

Thank you again for the outstanding service!

Our AC system stopped working unexpectedly, and we called Big Al’s Services for after-hours support. From the moment we reached out, they were responsive and professional.

Elijah, the technician who came out, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor, explained the issue clearly, and had the repair completed in short order. What could have turned into a stressful situation was resolved quickly, and we were back up and running on a Sunday morning.

I really appreciated the prompt service, honest diagnosis, and professional workmanship. If you’re looking for reliable HVAC service when you need it most, I would definitely recommend Big Al’s Services. Thanks again to Elijah for getting us comfortable again so quickly!

My AC unit died during the hottest week of the year (so far) on July 4 weekend. Big Al’s sent a technician out same-day, diagnosed the issue, left to purchased the necessary parts, and returned to complete the repairs all same-day in the holiday weekend.

The technicians let me know when they were arriving and were very professional and courteous. 10/10 I highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Tried at least 3 different companies to fix our central A/C (new units with a terrible install) before calling Big Al’s and they are the only ones to help resolve the issue and were quick and courteous. Highly recommend Big Al’s!

I put a call in for low AC cooling. The tech arrived promptly that morning and was very thorough in diagnosing the issue. He took the time to explain clearly what he found. The cost was very reasonable, the service exceptional. I highly recommend them.

Big Al and his team installed mini splits in our home, and they did an outstanding job. They completed the installation in just two days, were professional throughout the process, and went out of their way to work around our schedule. I highly recommend Al and his team to anyone considering a mini split installation.

We had our 2 installs done toward the end of April (2023) and I wanted to wait and see how well our systems worked before commenting.

Our 30 year old furnace was replaced with a Thermopride Spirit Oil furnace. The air the new unit moves is phenomenal compared to our old system and it is so much more quiet!

We then had a 3 head Mitsubishi Hyper Heat mini split system installed. We have already used it and we love it. We have to actually listen to hear it. The air moves great and the temp you set it at, is the temp you will get in the room.

As far as installations go, Al and the Team are efficient, work great together and are clean. If I hadn’t been home when they were there, I would not have know they had been there.

We have used Big Al’s for our standard service for a while now, and will continue to do so. If you need a reliable, trustworthy company to work with, we highly recommend Big Al’s.

This past winter I needed to replace my oil tank due to the legs failing. I got multiple quotes and Al was by far the most reasonable. Al also personally talked to me and talked me out of trying to just replace the legs on a 30 year old tank.

Then yesterday my mini splits decided they didn’t want to cool anymore. My house was 84 degrees and 80% humidity inside! I called Big Al’s at 8am and they were ringing the doorbell at 8:27. By 9 I had ice cold AC again. Great company and people!

Great experience! New boiler and tank installed and the process was quick and efficient. Responded for a quote visit quickly, receives quotes and receipts via email. Install of both tank and boiler was neat and efficient, crew was respectful and did a great job. Clean up after job was perfect. I highly recommend Big Al’s service.

I recently had my oil furnace replaced by Big Al. They replaced my 30 year old furnace with a Kinetic Assent. The new furnace is a lot quitter than my old furnace. The crew that did the replacement was excellent, very friendly and polite. They picked up and cleaned everything . I would highly recommend Big Al service.

Al is the best and most reliable contractor that I have worked with for my home. He is incredibly responsive – came on Halloween night when the furnace blew cold air and responded to my texts on Thanksgiving when we had another issue. A couple years ago he did the leg work to find the only furnace that would fit into our crawlspace. He did the installation and has maintained it for us ever since. A stand up guy doing quality work for reasonable rates – what more can you ask for?
